I believe it’s actually illegal for Cubans to sell their cars overseas. Heck, until a couple of years ago, it was illegal to sell them to other Cubans.

What does Castro have to do with importing cars into the US? Pretty sure it was the “free market capitalist” acting as the cock block in US-Cuban trade. I haven’t been buying Cuban cigars through Switzerland over the years because of Castro. Pretty sure they’re still picking up pieces of the guy responsible for that one.

They reformed that law two years ago, and it mostly prevented Cubans from getting new cars, not Americans from buying Cuban cars.

Who normalized him? My Mike Pence comparison was most definitely not an attempt at normalizing Castro. I have no love for Castro but I’m educated enough to know both the US and Cuba were equal players in the embargo and threat of nuclear war games they played. The difference is the US still has nukes pointed at people, and I still have to buy Cuban cigars from Switzerland. Thanks Obama!
